I have a u haul flat four connector on my car. when attaching to my utility trailer I note the lilghts are dim . Which of the four wires is the ground.

The pin that is exposed on the connector is the GND. (white wire)

The ground wire is usually the black wire.

white is ground but also look to see if they have a wire with a clamp on it. you need to clamp that one up also. squeeze clamp

white is ground, brown is tail, yellow and green are turn and stop
