mcharmd is right. Most likely you heater core is clogged. This is a common problem on older cars, or those that aren't taken care of very well. Minerals and sludge build up in your coolant system and clog the small fins on you heater core. Sometimes they can be flushed, but often need to be replaced.

Not knowing the year of your vehicle I couldn't guess if you have ducts with control doors or not.
You say fan works, is this by ear, you can hear the fan, or is the air comlng out as it should, cool of course ??
As was suggested, check the valve that controls the coolant flow from your engine to the heater. You could possibly have a kink in a hose also, had that happen once.
You will probably need to disconnect the hose from the valve to see if it works.

Theres a heater control valve that controls coolant flow to your heater core. Make sure its hooked up and moves freely, somewhere inline with the heater hoses.

heating core is bad then ;more than not . or your vent door is stuck closed a lot of those work off vacum lines these days and the doors sometimes stay closed so the air cant flow out; see if you have heat in your defroster or not too.
