Forget it. Let your lodgers go buy a freeview box. They are around £25 to £30 in Argos, Asda, Tescos, etc. Why go through the expense of kitting out each room for SKY access. It will cost you. And they may abscond in the night with the Sky equipment if they decide to skip off without paying the rent.

They sell 2 way amplifyers for this at Radio Shack for about 30 bucks. I just did that for my signal and networked cable to several locations in my house. The amp made a big improved differece in my reception.

I don't know if they have enough bandwidth for digital TV. If it's not HDTV, it should work: you can use a splitter and cable or a wireless home transmitter. There are some for HDTV also.

Let them pay the rent first - not sponge off you for the free (& often cr*p) satellite TV.

Stick a booster box in your attic, and then run individual leads to each room.

Why in God's name do you want television in ANY room of your house? It is the most boring, mundane, insulting load of garbage you could ever insult your intelligence with. Chuck it!
