Do you prefer that their songs sound like the album or is it better to hear them do a different version ?
Is it all about the show, crowd interaction, atmosphere - is lypsynching an acceptable trade off for a stunning dance routine or is it a total rip off (I think it's a total con !!!)
What do you enjoy at a concert ?

Ooh forgot to mention venue definitely a key factor, small much better.....

I have been lucky enough to go to some great concerts/festivals (Rolling Stones, Oasis, Muse, Aerosmith, The Who, Eric Clapton, Yes, Live 8, Virgin festivals in UK & US) I only added the lypsynching as a general comment NOT because I've never seen a live concert - just wanted people's thoughts on what they love about the live experience ......

I think you have avery valid point about lip-synching. Yes, it's a rip-off because all they are doing is miming to a studio recording. this happened on a lot of TV music programs, none of which I'm willing to name on the grounds of a possible libel suit being filed.
I have very few 'live' albums, because I find that the live version doesn't come over nearly as clean as the studio version.
Yes, you are right about it being about the show, crowd interaction, and atmosphere. Those aspects don't come over in a studio recording, although I have at least one CD that sounds as though 'crowd noises' were added for effect. I would say, ultimately, that provided that the audience feel that it's money well spent, then they will most likely feel quite happy about having spent about half a days wages on a live concert.
What the artistes don't always recognise, is that it's the audience who put them where they are, just like politicians!!

I have seen so many bands live since 1979 and i can tell you that you can never beat the live experience, and the crowd reaction the way they all join in and sing their songs dance cheer it's just an all round experience, and i will never stop going to see bands even though I'm now 46 your never too old to enjoy a good concert

1. The quality of the song
2. How the band members play their instruments (improvisation would be great)
3. The singer's voice
4. Band-Audience interaction (the band's ability to 'control' the audience)
5. Light show
6. The sound (e.g. if the guitar's volume is higher than the vocal, that is very very bad)
7. Sound effect (it always feels good to hear it in a huge room)

I think depending on the song most people want to hear it as close to the recording as possible, I mean unless the singer gets lots and lots of help from the engineer and really can't hold a tune so just jumps around onstage and have the audience sing the song, and I love to see a good show, and stage presence is a must, someone who can make you feel like they are singing to you.

If you are however struggling to improve you are straight and you are hoping to get both hands above the side, put Vert Shock to the test, a program you will think it is here https://tr.im/khFQ4  and give it a decide to try, you will be astonished of how quickly you can be a monster hopper in the event that you train the proper way.
This program won't make you leap thousands of instances because Vert Shock was made and employed by genuine elite stage basketball players.
As it pertains down seriously to it, if you genuinely wish to leap larger, you merely found the most effective program on earth to accomplish so. Any other way could only be described as a waste of time.

I think it's just the band's ability to make great things on stage with their music and their voices (Muse. Should I add something else?)
