I'm sure i'll get plenty of thumbs downs, i don't care, so lets set a record.
This must be a liberal thing, but all I read on here is just Bush hatred. There is nothing about how things should be run, ie new ideas on how the gov't could be run, what candidates have to offer.
Everyone has heard all the Bush slander, there's nothing new, we know he talks slow, we know he cannot use big words, and we know that he might not know what he's talking about. It's been done. Lets be a little more contructive and a little less destructive?

I agree with you totally. When I joined Yahoo Answer I thought it would be fun and I might have some intelligent political discourse but instead I have seen the brain trust of the democrat party. And I thought Howard Dean was crazy. However as you can see from some of your answers that this will never evolve into a serious question and answer about politics and issues. I have yet to see a liberal question that has to do with an issue supported by verifiable facts and evidence. This does however make me very excited about the November elections. Just like the democrat party the kool-aid drinkers don't have any ideas either.

Well l hate Bush and if you want some ideas on how to run the country better here you go. First lets start withdrawing troops from Iraq. We have no reason to be there anymore and it has nothing to do with the real war on terror which is in Afghanastan. Second we need to use the billions of dollars we spending in Iraq to take care of America. Conservatives kill me with poor in America should get a job because my tax dollars are going to take care of their asses and yet have no issue with spending billions of their tax dollars to take care of other countries problems. Third lets try to solve the issue with the oil prices. Yes the price of oil has dropped recently but l do believe it is only dropping because of the elections that are coming up can you point to a reason other than that why the would be dropping now but was near 3 dollars all year. l will end there but l have more and until Bush really address these issues he suck.

I wish George W Bush instilled that warm lets be constructive feeling in people but unfortunately for most, this administration through their incompetence has done nothing but squandered the trust of a whole nation. Also, I believe people have a right to express their outrage when an ELECTED government official fails them time and time again. Thank you.

If you think Bush is the one coming up w. the bright ideas there is probably no point in explaining. Bush is 'advised' by professional manipulators who work for the top dogs that the Republican party represents. He does a v. credible job of passing himself off as a below average Joe who believes that God is on his side and that the Bible tells him so. The people who instruct his advisers are laughing all the way to the bank while the public argues about how many angels can sit on the head of a pin.

How things should be run? Ok, how about this: we stop participating in a pointless war that was started on dishonest terms. We revoke policies like the Patriot Act that have diminished the civil liberties this country was founded upon. We get rid of No Child Left Behind and put more money into education rather than punishing teachers in low-income districts. We stop giving tax cuts to the wealthy and increase funding to social security and national health care so we finally catch up to the rest of Western society.
Is that constructive enough for you?

Most people are tired of the mud slinging and don't want to be associated with either party. The corruption is just too damn much to take anymore...
there are a few insulting and unreasonable posts but I think most people want a fuller discussion of the problems and NEW ideas for how to deal with them all.
Many of us do watch Cspan to hear many viewpoints discussed in a more indepth way.... we also seek out other sources of info and try to spread them online and such.
The political adds are SO annoying that if truth be told if there was anyone who came out with a batch of good ideas they could probably win a write in campaign... I know its close to the election but I am saying that we the voters of all political persuasions are so damn fed up with all of them we want a whole new batch of people in office.

I hated his freaking guts since he stole the 2000 Presidential election! Since then, his incompetence has screwed everything up, and not to mention his post-9/11 initiatives that have eroded our civil liberties! (He has tortured the Constitution, for crying out loud!!!!!!!!) He's also for thje badly-mismanaged illegal war in Iraq that has, so far, killed off over 2,700 soldiers in the process!

Not sure what your question is but Dubya has been a total failure since he stole the first election.
Some constructive stuff may be to impeach him and if not , pray really hard every day that he will not do much more to hurt America. Iran and North Korea could be new places for him to invade.
Hopefully the mid term election in November will get rid of some of Dubya's supporters. Thanks for asking

Bush has a team of people who tell him what to say. He doesn't do much on his own. It would be the same no matter who was President. I have a friend who works for him.

It would be nice to be able to say something nice about Bush. Unfortunately I believe in civil liberties and human rights and due process...I'm kind of against torture too.
