In line 6 cyl engine, cars have a larger oil pan requiring more oil. V-6 cars hold just enough oil to the full mark on the dipstick. AS AWLAYS year make model would be helpfull.

normally but not always. Like the 4 cylinder echotech engine that saturn and gm use it takes 5 quarts. But the 6 cylinder engine only takes 4.5 quarts. There are a few other exceptions out there but in most cases the larger the engine the more oil it takes.

Generally yes, but this will depend on which engines you are talking about. A turbocharged 4 will take as much or more oil than a small naturally asperated 6. If the 4 has an oil cooler and the 6 doesn't, the 4 will take more oil.

Yes, because the bigger the engine, the more oil it needs to do its job.
