What do you guys think of the new law that Congress pass in 2005 that will come in affect in 2008, where you are going have to carry an ID, around to board a plane, just about everthing we do? Instead of just a having a drivers license for ID. Can you find me some info an your'e views?

A person was always supposed to carry an id on you but until this act there was no penalty for not having it with you.

Yes you do need a id to vote. At least you do in Indiana.

I always carry my id with me so it wont bother me anyway.

Beside DNA registration is coming soon and it will be used in conjunction with your id

You need your SS number or State Driver's License for just about anything today. Many banks require 2 picture ID's to just open an account. So where do you feel any threat from this?

It actually would speed moving around a great deal. On universal card, rather than 50, as there are now. Such standardization is a win -win for all of us.

What difference does it make? ID is ID. Carry it just like your driver's license or state issued ID. It says who you are.

Other countries require ID for voting. Why shouldn't America?

I think it's more Big Brother Watching us and resent the hell out of it! If ID's helped security of U.S., they wouldn't be so easy to forge and make the whole idea useless.
