I'd like to change my existing sliding closet doors to sliding mirrored doors. Will that do anything for my house (added value or just appeal) if and when I decide to sell? I know it'll make the room look bigger, but what else will it do for me besides increase my love life?

Mirrored closet doors are the type of feature whose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My wife doesn't like mirrored doors at all. She thinks they are tacky, and remind her of a period between 1979 and 1985 where wood paneling was also in. On the other hand, I can see the appeal of mirrored doors, including making the room feel more spacious and having the convenience of a full length mirror without having to walk to a bathroom or purchase one yourself.

Upon resale I would caution you, and say that because of the doors being in the realm of taste, the doors themselves may turn some buyers off a little bit to the property. They may view the doors you loved so very much as an eyesore and something they will have to spend time and money to replace. Of course, others may want the doors and (subconsciously) be willing to pay more for the house.

The bottom line is if you want the doors, and you plan on staying there long enough that you think the cost is worth having the doors, then put the doors in. After all, you can't worry about what the future buyers might think or want until you're getting ready to sell the house. They won't be living in it for a (presumably) long while.

I'm 50/50 on this one.

Mirrored doors increase light and make a room look bigger, but I always think...one more piece of glass to try to get streak free. That's just the housewife in me talking.

Mobile home are notorious for mirrors... I don't see it improving the value... Hinged doors would be better for it would open up the enter area for viewing...

Most women don't want mirrors around to remind them of the few extra pounds they're packing... and I have never heard of mirrors increasing your love life... when you have sex YOU may enjoy the visual effect more... but what does your partner think of it... rethink this please!!!!

Mirrored closet doors look great, they are useful and people love them. They're worth every penny. Don't even think of it for a moment. Install them and enjoy them. Future buyers will love them too.
