Nah. I wouldn't call that a come back. Not good enough. Not heavy enough. Simple guitar chords. They started losing it after ...and Justice for All. The Black album was ok but that is when I started to wonder about them. After that they lost me completely.
When they made a group decision to cut their hair, wear eye makeup, and dress differently I knew there was no going back. It's ok for one guy to cut his hair or change in his own way but to do it as a group seemed like they were selling out which is completely opposite what they originally stood for back in the old days.
Then Lars had to be such a little ***** about Napster. NEWS FLASH: Real fans will still buy your music if its good! I guess maybe he knew it wasn't good anymore so they had reason to be worried. Now you can download the album ahead of time, find out it's crap, and never have to waste your money.
Yeah I'm done with Metallica.
