uncut means the director has not cut anything from the film so it is the full version
unrated just means that someone not associated with the film has not put a rating on it.
They seem alike but they don't effect each other.

An unrated version is one that hasn't been reviewed and rated by the MPAA and usually but not always has more nudity, cursing, bloods and guts. It's an uncut version of the rated or previous version or just hasnt been rated. Hope that helps.

Uncut refers to the wholeness of the film, i.e., none of the bad (nasty, gorey, dirty, whatever) parts were cut out (as for some TV stations, or for length); unrated means it wasn't rated by the institute. Usually because it predates the rating system.

Uncut means all scenes are shown in their entirety, unrated means parts that could not be included in order to get a low enough rating to be shown in theatres are now included in the movie, or it could just be a matter of synonyms.

Evidently there were certain scenes that had to be left out to get the R rating, and in the unrated version they are in.

uncut movies, i'm guessing, just have scenes in it that weren't in the theatrical version. the unrated version just has stuff that couldn't be put into the theatrical version. probably because it's too dirty or scary.
