Ever consider what would happen if someone came up to a bunch of guys working on the docks now days and said, "follow me, I will make you fishers of men!" - how long do you think it would take the cops to get him and put him away?
I wrote a paper in school once on the theory (my own) that, since Jesus was so spectacularly unsuccessful the first time, he kept trying...mohammed, buddah, etc. (don't remember all the ones I used, but it continued thru Joseph Smith and the Mormons) and finally, in pure frustration, he came back as Hitler - to get rid of all the folks who wouldn't believe in him. Needless to say, I spent a fair amount of THAT afternoon in the principal's office!

I can't speak for all bible thumpers, but as a child of God sometimes I like to remind people about Him and His love for all of us. My faith is the only constant thing I've had in my life. I'm not perfect and have constant struggles to deal with. I'm a Christian but I'm a woman too.

well, I'm happy 4 u. and i don't know y they do that! when i was little my mom says go hide in ur room when they came! i don't know y though. i am a christian, but i got mine from my church, not a visiting person!
