I'm a Scorpio and that behavior is pretty typical. We tend to be very secretive... There's really not much you can do about that. We're fairly stubborn and if you try too hard to get something out of him he'll only be pushed away. The most you can do is be patient and earn his trust. If you have it already then he'll start to open up to you on his own. Unfortunately, It's hard to get us Scorpios to do anything until we decide to do so. And when he does open up, make sure you listen and let him know what he's telling you is important to you and you're grateful that he's telling you. That may sound dramatic but most Scorpios are proud and whenever they do open up and share something they want to make sure you understand that it's a big deal. This may not be true for other Scorpios but when I open up to someone and they seem honestly intrigued, I feel compelled to tell them more. We love to feel important, it's a power in it's own and I'm sure you've heard that it's something we enjoy and I think if you make him feel that way even if he's opening up in little ways, it will speed things along. :) As far as the moodiness goes just let it pass and don't let it intimidate you.

That is EXTREMELY typical for a Scorpio. Most Scorpios (actually, most water signs for that instance) are intensely secretive, very moody (but that would be more of a Cancerian thing), and sometimes can be hard to communicate with. Water signs have natural trust issues. We're pretty emotional people. I'm not sure what your sun sign is or how long you've been together, but if it's a newer relationship then it could just take him a while to open up. As a Cancer, it takes a VERY long time for me to open up to people.
You should see if you can do a birth chart of him (www.astro.com, you need birth date/time/place). He might have a bad Mercury placement or aspect that could make it even harder to communicate with him (Mercury is the planet dealing with communication).
Good luck to you! :)

scorpios are notorious for being secretive and moody. Don't badger him or pester him to talk, as that will result in disaster. Scorpios like to be in control and get a kick out of mind games, the more he knows it bothers you, the more he will probably do it. They find it hard to trust people, they will slowly open up as their trust in you grows, but keep in mind, if you are looking for a man who will tell you he loves you everyday, a scorpio is not for you. At least scorpios are real, they do not use people and have a strong sense of justice. They are very compassionate people who are always willing to help out a friend. They do this with no strings attached, appreciate this as these traits are rare in people. Just make sure you stand up to him as scorpios need to respect their partner and view lack of assertiveness as a weakness.

I agree with all of the scorps reporting in... We get moody if we are slighted to a point we feel is unjust.. We are secretative as only open up to those we beleive we can trust and we seem (or at least me for real sure) about opening up to people I would like to get into a relationship with many times. I know one right now I have done that to as I don't know how she feels about me and don't want the whole world to know if I get rejected possibly (also there are some other possible issues)
But with the scorp, it just takes time to work on the scorp with give and take talking to the point that he gets real comfortable with you, and then he may stay talking to you a little too much:-)

Welcome to my world honey!
My first husband was like that, (scorpio) and it didn't work out.
My second husband is also a scorpio, but he is not so bad. He just needs time to blow off steam and then he is fine again after he huffs and puffs for a few minutes.
I don't think you can do anything about the secretiveness - trust me, I tried with #1. #2, not so much.
I am an Aquarius...hope this helps!

Scorpio's can be tough to understand on the surface, but you could break the ice by asking him some questions and increase the communication between yourselves. He is probably a little self-absorbed at the moment because Scorpios can be very intense and focused on accomplishing things.

Well it all depends on what u r. I have had 3 scorpio bfs so far and they have all been the same. Scorpios are very secretive people and u should just give him his space and he will open up to u when hes ready unless u r a aquarius, aries, gemini, leo, libra,or sagittarius.
If u r a capricorn, pisces(me), taurus, cancer, or virgo u might have a chance. I think u might have the best luck if u were a taurus or virgo.
But just be patient He'll come around

As a Scorpio man, I can honestly say we do a lot less talking and a helluva lot more listening. Whether we listen attentively can be debated but when we feel we need to say something we definitely do. As for the moodiness....i think we have a lot more pet peeves than anybody else and the more you know about his pet peeves the better off you'll be.
Possibility of taking secrecy due to his not talking? Express yourself and how you feel, he may not respond, but will listen. If you're worth it to him, you'll see him working.

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOfAL Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.
