Well there are about only 5 shows worth watching. We have DVD-R, record them and then make some popcorn and sit down and have a marathon event.
My SO and myself are shift and weekend workers, so it really doesn't matter what is on when.
Some nights, I have found myself watching the time-life informercials for their music. That is pathetic, but at 3 or 4 AM pickings are even worse.
BTW- I agree about sports, in fact sports is one of the reason I now have an ex-husband. He was(is) addicted to sports on TV.

I agree with you there is not alot to watch on TV on the weekends. I guess the networks believe most people are outside of the house doing other things and not watching TV.
But for those of us who are in front of the TV during the prime time hours there really is nothing interesting. I tend to watch 48hours, Dateline, Amazing Race, Flavor of Love, Ghost Whisperer, 20/20, and Close to Home.
All of the above shows are pretty entertaining and some of them are even informative.

I agree, and I dont know how they call the week nights the PRIME time anymore when alot of people work 2nd and 3rd shifts. I guess PRIME time means teenagers and old people. We need some good intertainment on the weekends thats not ballgames.

There is hardly anything worth watching anymore. Even if it's not a governmental conspiracy, TV is making people stupid. Period. Kill your TV. Wait -- you don't have to -- rent a good movie of your choice instead.
Or, you could read Ken Follet's "Pillars of the Earth." One of the best novels ever written.

Never any thing good on the weekends? Maybe they think people are out haning with family and friends. Not sitting at home. Or out doing yard work. (-:

TV is just a tool. What you view on it is your choice.Put a picture of your favorite subject on top of your TV. Then you can no longer say there's nothing good on TV anymore.

There isn't anything worth watching during the week either. Cancel your digital or cable provider and read a good book, indulge in your hobbies, exercise, shop, live!!!!!!!!!!!!!
