Most Sunni's rule in Africa...they are primarily from the continent of africa, based on this graph here.

It states , if you read down the column on the left hand side, that most of these types of muslims are from Tanzenia, Morroco, egypt(in africa)Mauritania, which is another of africa's country's. The numbers are there..the higher percentages show who lives where. More sunni's in African countries, higher scores..you get it..not rocket science! LOL. let me know if you need more help. Since there are a few minor differences between the Shiiates and the Sunni's, there is no demographic divide between muslims. Wherever they live, they live in a mix of Shia's and Sunni's. Their ratio may change from land to land. The right questions would be what is the ratio in Ethopia? I do not know the answer to that.

Of course,they are Sunnis.except Countries like Iran,Iraq,India,Pakistan.etc there are no shiites.hope this answer will help you
