Yes! i read the book, suspicious like you, not believing that a book could change my lfe so drastically. what happened shocked me: with the help of Dale Carnegie, i was earning respect, gaining confidence, and enjoying life! This book literally altered my perception of life, and i am so happy that i read it. It really is, in my opinion, one of the greatest books out there. And yes, it does give practical advice that can be used in the real world. Some of Carnegie's advice is general, but he then follows up with specific situations that you are able to relate the advice to. Other pieces of advice are just as helpful even if they are specific to a situation you wouldnt be in, because you can translate it to your own life. Again, what an amazing book! i definitely suggest it!
best answer? pleasee.!!

- I study it first approximately 3-4 years in the past (an early version) - I study it returned 6 months in the past (a latter version) - i think of it exchange into very encouraging, however the 1st time I felt it a splash old, by way of fact it stated human beings or places that don't exist anymore. yet I liked the actuality it recognized that Carnegie did no longer invent something new, yet tapped our backs to undergo in techniques us the "previous stable concepts" all of us understand yet never persist with. very own thoughts are maximum adecuate for each undertaking and supply a great plus to the extensive-unfold of the e book

Yes--pretty good reading. For instance if you were to say the word Mustang what percentage of people would say they thought of a horse rather than a car? It gives you some good insight on the minds of people.

It's the second best book I've ever read in my life, right behind Think and Grow Rich. If you are open to it, it will change your life.
