as the Bruins played against Notre Dame in the final 2 minutes?

The problem in football is that there is an unseen two-edge sword. On one side I personally would have kept trying to score again and not limit my play calling by playing to win. On the other side(which is what we see all the time) you play conservative by running more and playing not to lose. To use this option, you need a great running game and a great defence in case the running game comes up short.

It was an interesting game, UCLA should have tried to move downfield on their last possession before the Notre Dame touchdown, but hindsight is twenty/twenty right.

It was a very lucky pass and run on the last play for the Irish, if Quinn would not have pump faked the ball the first time the game would have ended with a score of 17-13 with UCLA winning the game. Glad it didn't happen that way, but it exposed a lot of weaknesses on the offensive side of the ball that should have been taken care of after the loss to Michigan.

UCLA was doing well, and then they just handed the game to ND. They played too much preventive defense and left Brady Quinn wide open. Its a shame, I thought UCLA was going to pull an upset.
