SpongeBob SquarePants is the absorbent, yellow and porous star of the cable television cartoon series SpongBob SquarePants. The show was created by Stephen Hillenburg and first aired in 1999. Voiced by Tom Kenny, SpongeBob lives in a pineapple under the sea, in an area called Bikini Bottom.
