If you have a sore spot of your lower pelvis part, I am not sleeping around, only with my husband. I sometimes experience painful, long periods. I have not had a pap smear in years, I know I need to get one but hate them.

All I can say is that I recommend getting a pap done, even if you hate them. Your health is worth it.
Now, is it tender or an open sore? Could it be external bruising if it is tender to the touch?

This could be many different things. DO NOT mess around with your health. You need to go to the doctor and get a pap... nobody likes to go get one. If you end up with cancer or something that is easily treatable when caught in the earlier stages, you will be kicking yourself later... Go now... don't depend on this place for the answers.

Go see a doctor and get your pap test I rather have that done then get cancer .and might not be anything they could do for you, if you wait to long. Has your husband been faithful????

Obviously you need to get a full pelvic exam. Could be lots of things, some minor some serious. One thing's for sure, the longer you let it go the more difficult it will be to treat. Possibilities include endometryosis, simple infection of the bladder, uterus or cervix to name a few. Get it checked out :)

I think you already know the answer to this. You need to see your doctor because pain in the pelvic region is a sign of pelvic inflammatory disease and left untreated this can make you very sick and/or cause infertility. It may not be PID but you need to find out for sure.
