I live in the north of england and the weather is not always the best up here, it has been really windy and today my weathervane fell off my roof into the neighbours garden, destroying her bird table in the process!! I witnessed the whole episode because I was busy photographing my neighbours t,its(turns out it's totally legal) anyway I managed to retrieve it without anyone noticing but my neighbour is going mental about her birdtable, I thought she would be pleased because she was always moaning about the Thrush that kept coming back and irritating her! Should I admit that it was my c.ock that did the damage or keep quiet?

To "Daman" why are you being so nasty? You were ever so gentle in the toilet earlier!

It never ceases to amaze me the damage falling c.ocks can do.
Mix that in with photographing t.its and you have the recipe for disaster.
Next time make sure your c.ock is firmly fastened down and kept in place.
Tell her she will have to take care of her Trush problem herself.
Why not be a fantastic neighbour and buy her a new bird table.
She need never know it was your c.ock that did the damage.

I think you should do the honest thing here. You need to go round to her house, c.ock in your hand, thrust it at her explaining exactly how a bit of wind blew your c.ock down. Say that you are very sorry about the thrush and that you are sure it will return now that you have removed your c.ock from her table and that you will buy a new one.

Tricky one - c.ocks can be difficult to keep up, especially in high wind... I think you should approach your neigbour and apologise that your c.ock has done some much damage but politely explain that on the upside you have remedied her thrush problem... Maybe if you also fix her table she will gratefully let you photograph her t,its as a show of gratitude...

Man, you are in trouble! It’s windy up there all right but now the weather’s changed, it may also start raining and it looks like you may end up with a leak on your hands…
Good on you, you managed to retrieve it unnoticed but I suggest before let it loose again, you go and have it looked at. The neighbourly thing to do is to take her table along for a check up. It sounds like it’s been badly battered
If just a bit of wind is enough to blow it off, you better stick to bird watching in future and please let us know how it went as you got us really worried here :)

Yikes, I'd be more worried that you may be at severe risk of c.la.mydia from having a loose or 'walkabout' co.ck. It's quite an affliction up there next to being thunderstruck when the co.ck in normally in it's housing at the peak of it's tower get's struck by a bolt of electricity.. normally associated when one's had too many current buns.

Did you damage her bush at the same time? I find the possibility that some people have attempted a serious answer to this question a bit worrying.

Pretend you don't know anything about it. If she notices your weathervane is missing off the roof, act surprised and tell her someone stole it! Then eye her suspiciously.

If you think it will improve the matter then tell her the truth. But if it doesn't same to make a difference in a day or so keep it to yourself....why bring up a situation that can jepordize your relationship.
