I'm in need of some inspiration, I seem to always gravitate to the same kind of music so it would be good to have some recommendations.

Karl Jenkins "The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace". It's a contemporary choral/orchestral work but not too heavy or over long and is beautifully sung and performed.

Madonna-The Immaculate Collection, it's got all her greatest hits, so mostly a lot of her old stuff but its a really great album to own and I bought it on offer in HMV for £5.00 and so it should still be there.

surferosa - shanghai my heart

i'm constantly exanding my musical tastes, there isn't a single genre i don't like. i buy loads of stuff without even hearing it based on reputation, hearsay, success of the album, internet rumour or just hearing a clip of the song on a website or the radio. you can't rule any genre i.e. 'rap is crap'; 'dance is highly unoriginal'; heavy metal is just people screaming, statements like that are just stupid. i feel sorry for all these middle aged guys who've been listening to led zep and queen for the last 30 years and won't try anything new and all these teenagers who won't listen to any form of rock because they have no attention span.
