"Red rum" and "All work and no play make [your name] a dull boy/girl" are classic. You can also draw crude demons. Upside down crosses and "666" may also be appropriate. Things like, "Don't look behind you!" "Help me!" or "Watch your step!" might work too.
Please do not put pentacles on your wall, because the pentacle doesn't mean anything sinister and you don't need to reinforce incorrect stereotypes!

Take black sheets and write "danger, live walls" and put them on the walls with people behind them to change the walls. I saw that in a haunted house once.

In a version of Dracula my teacher was telling me about, they used spandex walls, and had people backstage press their faces against it, and it had a really neat effect. You could do that if it isn't too late.
