So much has already been told to you by others. Remember, the tubal ligation is carried out just after the periods are over, so as to confirm that there is no pregnancy, which can otherwise be labeled as a failed operation. Now all you have to do is to wait for your normal periods which may be delayed by 2 to 3 days or vice-versa due to anxiety.

You will still have a normal menstrual cycle since you will still have your uterus and ovaries. The only thing a tubal ligation will do is prevent the sperm from reaching the egg.

YES,yes,yes...you will still have your period even after you have your tubes tied. I can only speak for myself, but i know that when i had mine done, my period got very heavy and then after a few months in leveled out and was back to normal. If you already have children, and don't plan on wanting anymore then this is a good form of birth control. But remember, this does NOT protect against STD's and HIV, so be sure to use condoms to protect yourself.

you will still have your monthly period even you have the tubal ligation, it depends on the condition of the procedure. sometimes you have spotting due to the effect of the surgery to the fallopian tube..
unless you have the total hysterectomy then your period will stop...

No because ovulation will not occur. Ovulation is where the egg is released through the tubes. If it isn't fertilised, the lining of blood(endametrium), will stay as blood and pass out through the vagina. This is known as a menstrual cycle. If it is fertilised, it turns into a cushion for the baby.
