well i don't know how communications to convicts work, but just tell him straight up that you aren't really in love with him anymore and have fallen for some other guy. If he objects, just say that if he was really concerned about not losing you he should've thought about that before commiting a crime and landing himself in jail. hope this helped!

Wow! First, let me fix that question. It should read:
"I am married and he is in jail until 2001; I will be 29 then. I have FALLEN in love with someone else. How do I tell him that I WANT a DIVORCE?"
Ok, that's better. I'm sure he's not the first inmate to be dumped while he was inside. Even though true love might be able to stand the test of time and incarceration, but what do I know? You should tell him face to face if possible, and if not send him a letter. Don't lie to him and tell him you still love him if you don't. Be honest about it.
And move far away before 2011.

Just file for divorce. An incarerated spouse is not worth anything. He won't be able to get a decent job once he is out and won't be able to support himself very well, let alone a wife and family someday.
A woman who sticks by a husband that's a convicted felon is NUTS.
Move on with your life. Get some job training so you can be SELF SUPPORTING. Become fully selfsupporting before taking on another man.
And hire a private dectective to do a background check on your new boyfriend. You don't want another man with criminal tendencies.

you dont have to tell him have the divorce papers sent to the jail if you want a divorce then that means that you know longer should love or care how that person feels its over so let it be over move on but if your asking this question then you probably do still love the man in jail and maybe should consider your situation with him are you willing to wait all that time for him probably not i know i wasent willing to wait for my ex husband

Just tell him. You said, he's in jail, until 2011? Find out if you can sue for divorce before then, like say in 2007.

Go ahead and get your divorce. You are too young to wait around on someone who is in jail. Who knows? He may do something illegal and end up in jail two years after he gets out. Why waste your life on a loser?

I usually do not think cheating is right whatsoever but in your case I do not blame you. If your husband was found guilty in a crime and has to serve time that can get pretty lonely I am sure. It is one thing if the man was fighting for our country and had to leave but he chose the wrong path. We all have decisions we make in life and he went for the wrong decision. You can go visit him and tell him face to face it will be hard but that is the best thing to do.

First of all you have to learn how to spell it...and it's WANT not wont...won't is a contraction of will not., and it's DIVORCE not devorce...So the way you have put it translates to I will not a divorce? Doesn't make sense.

be honest with him Tell him you want a devorce because you do not feel he is right for you anymore and I think you should tell him eventually that you met someone else but I do not think you want to tell him that right off unless he asks its best to be honest

Just be honest, tell him that you are young, and you life must go on.say I hope that you can understand, say I did not realize that it would be this way, say I have tried, please move on with your life, and I have to move on with mine. I want you to take care of yourself. and I wish you well! I hate to do this, but I am going to apply for a divorce. Now you can write him or tell him on the telephone.
