I want a nice view of table mountain.

I am flying out end of Jan 2007, from London

Is it the same side when taking off?

The runway runs 180 degrees and which side your flight uses depends on the wind at that time. I could tell you to sit in the A/B side, but your best view may be on the E/F side.

I agree that Table Mt. is a beautiful sight - sorry I can't tell you which way the wind will be blowing on your arrival!

If you flip a coin you'll have a 50-50 chance of being right!

Any side by the window is good. Sit on the right you will see Table mountain . Sit on the Left Robben Island . If what Lost Tourist say happens you can still see either of the above . When returning to London sit on the opposite side of the one you came on . Then see the other feature . Then you would have seen both sides .

Good luck .

I would imagine you'd have to sit on the left side of the plane!! But just ask which side you'd be able to see Table Mountain...you probably won't notice it from the top coz of it's flatness!!

=)
