yeag. when a guy becomes a night you have to call him sir and his wife a lady. I know because my dad recieved the CBE from the Queen, which is one below knighthood and 2 higher thn what david beckham has now.(MBE)

No, cos if its David that gets knighted he'll be Sir Dave, but Posh'd have to be knighted as well before she can be lady..

Well he does deserve the recognition..esp cos of all he does for kids and charity. And after all...they knighted Jeffery Archer...so nobody can says that Beckham isnt more deserving than him...anyway how often are any of you going to bump into him & Victoria to get a chance to call them anything?

oh god I hope not! Why would he be knighted anyway? Being knighted is supposed to be a privelige to few but nowadays the people who aren't knighted are more rare and special than the knighted ones.

I don't suppose most of us will meet her so it's irrelevant really. Plus it's not compulsory, I wouldn't call her lady, not because I don't like her, I think she is ok, I just wouldn't call anyone lady or sir.
