I think there is no heaven. I think so because if they controlled us then I would not be typing this. If there is a devil, I would be doing this much more often, and if some made up being in the clouds is going to control me, then there is no point in living. Christians and Jewish people, Monothesian and any other religion... pleese dont take offence... The next sentence might be confusing but some of us do not have a purpose in life while some of us do. The people who do not have a purpose have no reason to live, but because you do not know who has a purpose, the only way to do anything is to pretend you have a purpose. In this way, we live our lives, without a heaven or myth... only science, and that in itself may not be real.

You know we humans often place human type ideas of what is heaven like. We always seem to believe that when we die, we will go to heaven taking the form of this body or human appearance.
But you have to remeber that when we die, we leave this body, we trancened this world. All the pyshical things that comes with being a human are removed, we wont hunger, thirsts, as the body which has hunger and thirsts have disapeared.
Instead what we are left with is just the soul. What ever that is i dont know, but i am guesing that what is considered good in Earth will have a totally different meaning on heaven.

I guess that depends on your own personal philosophy about heaven. Do you believe in an athiest view? A Buddhist view (then you'd believe in reincarnation), or a Judeo-Christian view..ect? For this reason, I believe heaven is personal to the individual. But for arguement's sake, I'm going to answer this from the Christian perspective.
But I will say, if you believe in a heaven with no sin, wouldn't that be kind of boring? And yes, I'd have to agree with you, if you were in a place with no sin and with the Creator of all things, you would be controlled. In the Christian religion, I believe that's what separates "angels" (if you believe in them) from humans. Humans have free will to make choices, whereas angels are ruled by the Creator. So...yeah, that's something I've never understood. Why would people STRIVE to go to a place where you have NO free will, no CHOICE, and no sin? It seems it would be extremely boring in my opinion. But, since you had nothing but "perfection" would you even KNOW you're being controlled? Because there would also be no evil, no temptation, and it would seem to me, to be like the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve weren't aware of ANYTHING until they ate from the tree of knowledge. They would be like newborn babies, dependent on your creator. But, are babies HAPPY? Are they even AWARE they are totally dependent on someone else? Hmm...good question, made me think :)
