how to get a 3d accelerator card?

when i donwload a game, it says the game requires 3d accelerator card. how do i get it?? can i download a 3d accelerator card from the internet? if so please tell me the site too..thankx

Listen carefully,,,
3d accelerator is not a software to download....it is hardware mechanism....means u need to fix this with Motherboard..
2- (in other word) Every 3d accelerator is "Graphic card"...but every "Graphic card" is not 3d accelerator...3d accelerator is that which supports game's pixel shader and vertex system..which by the help all 3d types game run.
3-Now wht u have to do is.."Just buy "3d accelerator Graphic card(which supports pixel shader and vertex)" fix this card in Mother board then run any 3d game...
4-i recommend u to Grab Nvidia Geforce AGP Card(5200 to so on) it starts with 128 mb..and is best for all 3d games....i hope u must have been helped..chaoo

No The Accelerator card is a physical card that should have installed in your pc in the market is many brands, Nvidia, Ati, the main and populars ones, Matrox and others too , the card will do the function of accelerate the frames per second of the 3d and 2d images and can get fluid motions in the videogame, just for know if your pc can work with that should look if the mainboard have agp port and a video graphics card and later of get installed all the work is done.

No, you must buy one and install it in your computer and plug the monitor up to it. They can be quiet pricey for the popular ones, however, last year's popular cards can be quiet cheap. Either way, find someone who's knowledgable to assist you in this endevour... ;-) good luck
