scary stuff huh?
Well let me tell you since I am a lesbian.
I am new to the gay crowd and even when I was straight I didnt like the looks of manly women.
THey do this to play the mans role in some way. I have even been to a gay church and a woman was wearing a mans suit, tie and everything. She also had a POCKET WATCH like a old man wearing it on the vest part. Had the wife and kids right behind.
I think women trying to look and act like men is not gay but a personality clash with ones body and mind.
Not all lesbians look the part as I say. I dont and my GF doesnt. We do comment about the manly women when we see them. A little disturbed in a way and confused.
But I can only think they want to play a mans role so the GF feels secure and not a leader in the relationship.
Some lesbians love the look of a woman dressed as a man. THose lesbians also wear strap on dildo's to complete the part too!

That's something that makes me wonder, too. I see some lesbians who act/dress manly. I thought the whole point of being a lesbian was to be with a "woman". Why would u get someone who acts or dresses like a man? Also, why do lesbians use dildos? They've made it crystal clear that they dont want a man. So, why use the fake male parts??? Be with your girl and be happy.

First of all, butch women are WOMEN ...too. The reason some lesbians act what you consider to be "mannish" is because I'm guessing that everyone is different. Not all lesbians are going to be super girly, and not all lesbians are going to be men.

For the lesbians like myself who are attracted to butch lesbians, this does not make us any less gay...then any other queer girls out there. People are attracted to different types of girls. Some girlier, some more butch. I don't see anything "gross" about that. A lot of girls think gender-bending is very attractive.

Butches aren't neccesarily freaks of nature or confused. Anyway, on the topic of DILDOS we don't use them because we want to have sex with men...only as a form of sexual exploration. Penetration...for fun.

Sorry MEN, lesbianism is something that you will never have anything to do with. It kills you doesn't it? Some lesbians may like the most "mannish" girls, but she'll never be with YOU.

Some lesbians like dildos because they feel good. No reason a lesbian should not want/like the same physical stimulation - they just don't want the stimulator attached to a man; they want to be able to wash it off and put it in the bedside table when they're done.
Difference between a dildo and a penis? Nobody goes around thinking with their dildo.

All people are different. Does every straight person you know act exactly alike? No! What do you think is a "normal woman"?
A "normal" woman can wear dresses and pearls or jeans and workboots. This goes for straight OR lesbian.

Ah, you're asking the difference between a dyke and a lipstick dyke right?

Same difference between a flammer and a closet, right?

Please remember to leave all stereotypes at the boor when entering the LGBT area. They tend to upset the natives. They're just being true to themselves instead of conforming to other people's expectations.

that's generalizing and mostly stereotype. most of us don't "act mannish"...and ALL of us are NORMAL women! that's really insulting, so I'm sure the assumption you're a bigot is correct...
