my brain lacks stimulation at the moment do you think i should by a good PC game like age of empires 111 or any simulation game or start a hobby, like canoeing, kiting or something?
Simulation games r fun but they soak up A LOT of time and are surely a waste of time are they not?

If you like monster truck shows, get yourself a hobby-grade RC truck! They aren't the crumy things you buy at wal-mart or radioshack, they're the quick models you buy at hobby shops.
If you're into mechanics and electronics, you'll have fun building a kit version. If you just want to go off jumps NOW, invest in a ready to run. The Traxxas Stampede is great fun for going just about anywhere, in the area in the hobby known as bashing. If you get good at it, you'll eventually be able to drive the awesome Revo!
If bashing, going off jumps, and such isn't foe you, try stadium trucks! I have a Duratrax Evader ST pro, and you can still take it off jumps, but it's designed more for speeding along dirt tracks. It's still fun!
If you don't want to hear the word dirt, you could just get an on-road car and drive it on an asphalt track. If you have a track that's a member of ROAR or IFMAR, you can probably start down the path of official RC racing.
REMEMBER: Hobby grades are 800% better than ANY toy grade RC car!

All things in moderation.
Simulation games are good for skills, such as thinking ahead, planning, reacting to unexpected events on a small level but they also do take up a lot of time.
Canoeing, to use that example is good for more physical skills, but takes up a lot of money to do each time, leaves people fairly tired and quite often takes up a lot of time too.
The best thing to do here, is to buy a good PC game (I recommend Civilization IV, over Age of Empires 3, but it's up to you) and play it on rainy days or nights as well as taking up a hobby like inline skating, or something and doing that when you have free time during days, or make a day out of canoeing or something sometimes.
Of course, most hobbies are ultimately a waste of time, it just depends how you waste it. Unless you want an active job, physical hobbies are a waste of time, apart from the generally keeping fit part.

Games are fun & stimulating but ultimately a waste of time. They do nothing to improve your life but taking up a hobby or 2 is a good way of meeting new people & expanding your social life.

Buy a good PC game like Civ4. You can get some good mods downloaded from various fan websites. Most stimulating for the brain. Almost as intellectual as chess.

Computer games are always fun, but I think you should get a hobby, such as Skateboarding, Surfing or Snowboarding(depending on what the climate is like where you live), or start playing an instrument like guitar, bass, or drums. I do all of those and they are all really good ways to pass time by.

Simulation games are not a waste of time, they make your brain work, and think. However, sitting in front of a computer screen is bad for your health and those games are very addictive. I would say, get a hobby that is active, so you can have a bit of exercise AND fun
