I have a girl who is my best friend. We are both 17 years old. We both have know each other our whole lives and our parents have know each other since they were in high school. I am worried if I tell Jen how I feel about her and she does not feel the same way that it could mess our friendship up. What should I do?

we have been best friends since we both were like 5 years old.

Maybe u should drop a few hints here & there, first. Do something gentlemanly, like open a door for her or kiss her on the cheek next time u guys say goodbye. Ya never know! But a really direct chat about everything could mess up the friendship if your feelings aren't reciprocated. That's why hints work, you'll be clued in to whether or not she's receptive. Cheers :)

Well i think you should tell her. what if she likes you too, and she's too shy to say anything? you might as well get it out there. i really don't think it will hurt your friendship. but if you think it will, then maybe get one of your friends to find out if she likes you through here or her friends & go from there.
