a lie of omission that jesus had several sisters and brothers!!!!what are they thinking not ever having told us that!!!did it just slip their minds!!!and how would that affect our perceptions of jesus christ's divinity?????

This isn't a direct answer to the question, but a comment on one of the answerers. The DaVinci Code is a work of FICTION. It does not give any factual information about the life of Jesus Christ. It does mention a sect that believes that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were MARRIED and had a child - not that they had an affair. I know, I read it twice. Jesus was without sin. There were several Mary's in his life, but the two most important were his mother and Mary Magdalene.

Jesus told no lies. But the bigest lie you can say is that He didn't exist and that He wasn't the Son of God. And if you are Roman Catholic and believe that Jesus didn't have any brothers and sisters. If you believe that then you are saying the Bible is lying and you call the men who wrote the Bible lying men. But if you believe that Mary is divine then sorry you are wrong. Mary was the mother of Jesus and had children with Joseph. IT SAYS IN THE BIBLE that he had sexul intercorse after she had given birth to Jesus

Shi'as believe that when Muhammad al-Mahdi will reappear, the prophet Isa (Jesus) will also reappear and that he will pray behind al-Mahdi. In other words, that Jesus will learn to pray as a Muslim! The worst lie about Jesus is hard to choose. It's one of things the people above wrote. It's a tie between "He didn't exist" and "he is a lier". Jesus is the Son of God who gave his life FOR YOU so that you won't have to die. If you try believing in him he will show you that he is very real and powerful.

the worst lie is that he never rose again but the davinchi code is another lie to say he was married to mary magdelene is disgusting his purpose in life was to save us from the wrath of god and to bring us into a right relationship with god but because of the godless society we live in people want to believe the lie and will listen to any rubbish thrown at them but we need to remember if its not in the bible its not true amen

Why is Ronnie quoting from the Da Vinci code when it's a work of fiction, that means that Dan Brown made it up! Zeggy thinks that you can't use a cave as stable? Been there seen it I also lived in Israel and swam in the see of Galilee.
