How is it that "nothing" can escape from the event horizon and yet the gravitational field exists beyond it? (I.e. on our side of the horizon of a singularity). What is the field and why isn't the field carrier limited by the same "curvature"? No information escapes but gravity does....

The field and the curvature are one and the same. There is no contradiction, since the mass of the blackhole distorts space-time just like any other mass.

The only difference is that the blackhole's singularity allows us to observe a steeper part of the distortion than would be seen with a normal massive object.

no man or woman BELIEVES something about a black hollow. beliefs do not count number. we've theories that expect - doesn't advise we believe it to be thoroughly authentic. it is a extra mature element of questioning - this is authentic provided that the assumptions made are valid. If we locate the assumptions replace the this is now no longer authentic. conception not in any respect enters into it. The predictions made are that as you flow the horizon of the black hollow you received't be conscious any instantaneous replace. debris that surrounds you nevertheless surrounds you. and that is all you spot for eternity. The debris round you. Now what you spot once you turn round is that the universe is rushing up faster and faster. What you do not comprehend happening is that you're slowly acceleration. quickly you'll bypass earth gravity. What occurs next is reasonably ugly. you spot in the international we are truly on the point of the exterior and the earth isn't so large so we do not sense the version in gravity between our heads and our ft. no longer so in the black hollow. As we loose fall like satellites we are somewhat accelerating faster and faster - quickly the gravity at our ft ( assuming we went it ft first) will be a lot more advantageous than at hour head- truly we get split in 0.5 by using tug. And we get pulled into smaller halves as we flow down extra and the gravity distinction will strengthen for the same volume fo length. Assuming we are residing on by some ability all we are nevertheless seeing the crap we floated in with!!! we are only acceleration faster, and relativisticly we see the universe speed as a lot as that end.

Gravity is not a field. It is the curvature of the space time continuum. There is nothing escaping except by evaporation. The frozen star (black hole) just warps space-time. I say that a graviton is just a different "part" of gravity. It has other properties and is expressed in other ways. Just like electrons are both waves and particles, gravity is both a particle and a warpture of space-time. When you get down to it, everything is just one force, but is a different manifestation of it. Gravity has yet to be fully understood, as does everything else.

A good book on subjects such as this is The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. His other book, The Fabric of the Cosmos, is also really good. Michio Kaku wrote a few good books on this, too.

proof has been found that shows "jets" of material going near the speed of light being spewed out from both "poles" of a "black hole"
