We use a company called Future Travel, part of the Co-Op Travel Group. Try www.holidayholiday.co.uk . Been booking holidays and flights with them for over 5 years, not only do we get "what it says on the tin" but we usually get a great deal too!

Try www.holidayholiday.co.uk/agents/sallysavage and thats the direct agent we use. She will tell you like it is, get exactly what you require and get the best deal she can. She's never let us down yet!!! Family and friends book through her now too.

I think there are contact numbers on the website if needed?!

Hi

Honest is perhaps the wrong word but I know what you mean. travel agents bonded by ABTA offer financial protection but they can be part of large tour groups such as Thomson's, Airtours, First choice and this is where the problem with unbiased advice begins because the reason these travel agents basically exist is to sell their own companies product so you will not get independent advice rather you will be sold a package that fits their directional selling plan.

To get a travel agent that offers "honest" advice you need to find an independent that can freely sell any operators package these will still be fully bonded so your money will be safe.

I would also suggest you avoid the likes of Expedia who again offer limited choice in what they offer you. Yes you can tailored it to a degree but no where as much as a good independent agent

check out the following web link for your local independent.

These agent will also deal with a large range of specialist tour operators that have great specialist knowledge in the destination they offer

These days I tend to use to The Flight Centre http://www.flightcentre.co.uk/ - they know what they are doing and can discuss your travel requirements professionally and knowledgeably. Other major high street travel agents just seem to recruit inexperienced shop assistants who can just barely sell you a package holiday.

I've always booked via Expedia on-line...you get exactly what you want as your holiday is tailor made to your requirements, plus the cost is controlled by you.

Your itinerary is then stored for you.
