Go to tools, then internet options, then when it says homepage type in the address of the my yahoo page.

lochemail just told all of us how to make the Yahoo Home page the default, & not MyYahoo. So sorry, no points fer you.

Just go to your yahoo page than go to tools on the tool bar and drop down to internet options click on that it will take you another box on the top is says homepage click on the use current button, click on apply and then click on ok

I have it as a default page but if I hit the big red Y on my task bar I get a different yahoo page

1. Click on "tools"
2. Choose "internet option"
3. At the address type : http://www.yahoo.com
4. Then click "apply"

there are 2 ways to configure your homepage ;-
1. go to start > control panel > internet option > general (tab) under homepage, type http://www.yahoo.com
2. on the internet explorer menu > tools > internet option > general (tab) under homepage, type http://www.yahoo.com
click ok and you are done configuring your homepage.
