Is a lisp just a gay impediment or did you just think this up in your head?
I don't know any gay people with a lisp however I have known a few straight people with lisps.
Perhaps there are real statistics somewhere that could help you out so you could speak and be a bit more educated on the lisp subject instead of assuming and using your generalizations!
That statement is like saying how come there are more gays with a limp then straight people......................since when are impediments and mild physical handicaps or the color of ones hair or their height or what have prejudice to one character trait of a human being!
People are so prejuidice ........................and the answer is No it is not always and there is no signal or sign to others!

you obviously don't know many gay people, or you'd know that that's nothing but a stereotype. I've never met ANY gay men who talk that way.
