Gary gives some very good advise. One old fashion cure for mold is vinegar. That's what William Bleigh ordered his crew to use for cleaning the Bounty. Besides getting rid of the mold ----or having someone else do it for you --- you'll have to get rid of the dampness that supports the mold. A bathroom fan, a heater or some sort of a dehumidifier may help. A few more things ---Ultraviolet light (sunshine) helps to get rid of mold. Possibly having a sun lamp shining on the problem areas, when no one is using the bathroom will discourage mold. Encourage people who use the tub to dry the area when they are finished using it.

A mask should remove the airborne spores as they are large. To remove the mold will disturb, so if you have a severe lung problem it would be best to have someone else do this for you when you are not in the bathroom. There are many products on the market and most are oxidizers like bleach. another would be hydrogen peroxide. Or simply removing the caulk around the tub and re caulking with new material.
