And why did she try and stop her brother from killing Annie? Does Hanagan really love annie and the Orphan but she's a ***** to them, so they don't know she loves them? and is Mrs. Hanagan annie's real mom?

Mrs. Hanagan is not Annies real mom, but I think she was just a lonely, love-hungry woman who had nothing else in life to do but drink and listen to radio romance while taking care of the "little girls". I don't think she LOVED Annie or favored her, I think she just wasn't that greedy to kill children over money unlike her brother Rooster.

no, and it's a Disney movie and they wouldn't let someone kill a person in that manor. no, that is not her real mom. and no, she treated the orphans very badly, not favor them.
