Does anyone have a sample of a theater volunteer contract. We have never used one but we are now going to be putting on a big budget musical with a 28 peice orchestra a cast of at least 30 and a pre show of 60 and would like written commitments from everyone.

I can not find the ones I was asked to sign earlier in life - LOL.

I have also looked online and can't find anything. I tried searching under - community theater, Theater, Volunteer, contracts, Any help will be much obliged

I would contact local regional theatres or even AEA. Both should be able to show you what they use. Opera and Dance companies use volunteers much more often than most theatres do though... What musical are you doing?

Seems to me that a volunteer that was going to bail wouldn't let a contract stop them. it's not like your going to hire a laywer and sue them so really what's the point?
