In 2006
The schedule for 2006 in the United States is that DST began on the first Sunday in April (April 2, 2006), and changes back to standard time on the last Sunday in October (October 29, 2006). The time is adjusted at 2 AM.
**Notice**
From 2007
Beginning in 2007, DST will start on the second Sunday in March (March 11, 2007), and change back to standard time on the first Sunday in November (November 4, 2007). Under Section 110 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the U.S. Department of Energy is required to study the impact of the DST extension no later than nine months after the change takes effect. Congress has retained the right to revert to the DST schedule set in 1986 if it cannot be shown that there are significant energy savings from an extension of DST.

I never worry about DST and associated clock times if you wake up on monday and find your clock has lost or gained an hour (depending on the season) as compared to the radio then you know you missed the clock change the previous night.
If it means you would be late for work just call in sick!
It makes me sick to think this was instituted in WW1 to save fuel for lighting and to give longer daylight hours for the working day.
Either move permanently to double DST or drop this anachronism now.

according to my calender it is October 29th, at 2 am, or do as most people do on the 28th before you go to sleep.
I think next year is when the Fall change is moved to a week later and the spring change is moved a week earlier. I know congress discussed it and i thought they passed the change but i could be wrong

Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the United States at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of April. Time reverts to standard time at 2:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of October. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.
