Hello,

You have to make sure that the song has all the info written in the correct fields. You have to make sure the artist name is in the Artist Field, the Album and song name are in thier corresponding fields. If all that is right, than you can go looking through the program files and place the physical song into the folder with Alan Jackson music and then update. I think this should work, goodluck!

You have to paste the album picture onto ITunes

Go to Google.com and images. Type in the Album (If you know it) then copy and paste it onto the lower left corner of ITunes while playing the song.

I wouldn't reccomend it though because it also takes space on the Ipod... though you have a 30GB so it may not matter.

Also, not all songs from albums or w/e will have the Album up for you already. All you gotta do is go to google and do the stuff i just told you

I have the same problem with my ipod video. As much as I would like to have an album filled in for each of my mp3's it's a little hard considering the amount that I have. Anyone with a 30gb ipod probably has a lot of songs and most likely is unable/unwilling to tag them all. As long as the name of the artist and song is filled in, the ipod should organize them accordingly... so why isn't it?

definite! each time I placed my iPod of shuffle, the 1st music continually finally ends up being a music with the help of The Velvet Underground. exceedingly the music dwindled Blue Eyes. i admire the Velvets, yet once I pay attention that music back, I swear i'll bounce out of my window!

technically, your song IS still in your ipod... go look for the title under "songs," i'm sure you'll find it. :)

but for the whole artist-album thing, it's just some stupid thing that apple did to tick us off... it's a glitch. makes you fill in all the information needed for your songs. sucks doesn't it? haha. but you can create playlists... playlists make life easier. :)
