The original Exorcist, but the sequels are pretty scary too. The least scary movies I've seen (the chucky movies). Why doesn't someone just grab the doll and pile drive it?

ring two- there is something really scary about this movie (and the first one) and i dont know what it is but this to me is just one of the scariest movies

The Night Walker - a black and white 1964 film. I saw when I was about 12 years old and the thought of it still terrifies me.

Audition. The first bit setting up these damaged people is creepy but a bit ho-hum. But wait for it!!! The last 30 minutes will scare the hell out of you!!
