The old one with Lee Remick and Gregory Peck. Better actors less special effects = scary.

i believe the old one is scarier due to the fact that back in the day they didn't have so much technology and effects that we do today. the old omen was very scary for me since i watched it when i was 8 years old. the newer one i just kept picturing julia in save the last dance and it made me not thnk of what was happening in the movie.

I was younger when I saw the old one and I thought it was scary.I watched the new 1 with my 15 yr. old son and we both thought it was just ok.He was
disappointed with the ending.I think sometimes new tech can take some of the scary out of a movie.That's just us,we love a good scary movie and they are real hard to come by these days.

I haven't seen the new one but I heard that the same director that directed the first one directed the second one, so they should be similiar so maybe its just more updated to suit the time also, the original Damien makes a cameo in the second one.

The old one, the priest looked psychotic, and the way the photographers head was cut off? scary!
it was sad when he found his baby in the grave w/ a hole in his skull....
so yeah, the old one was a lot better.

i just watched that the other day.
& gah the new one was good & loved how they did the scenes how there was always something red..
but gah i think the old one was a tad better. i dont know.
but the new was just as good tho too.

I haven't yet seen the new one. I hope they did the original justice. That one scared me as a kid.
