Knowledge should be fun. The reason we learn this is so we can know just how amazing our earth is and to see why it does all the things it does. The more you learn the better off you will be. With studies of these things, scientists can find if we are having a earthquake or why that hill is in the back pasture. Where a tsunami is coming from and what is best to plant where. The list is endless. Just study it and have fun with this. Here is a site to go read about the four layers of the earth.

You are correct, there are four layers, and it is so you have knowladge of the world areound you. It doesn't seem important now, but it just helps you to be a better person. If you know nothing of the planet you live on, you can't appreciate the wonders of science. Just hang in there, do the best you can and it will all make sense later I promise

I think bcuz if someone wanted to be a scientist & they wanted to go into that line of work they would knoe how many layers there are in the earth, or if they wanted to see how far theycould go they could figure out what they have to get through
