I'm filling out a job application for "Keep In Touch". For those unfamiliar with the company, they sell cell phones and cellphone service from several different companies. They're like a third party cell phone service provider.

Anyway, the quesiton is "Why do you want to work at Keep In Touch?" I can't think of a tactful way to say why I want this job, other than the fact that I want the job because I need a job lol.

Please help me!

I am a recruiter in Media Sales for Yahoo! We have hundreds of candidates who are interested in working for us.

When I ask someone "Why Yahoo!?" I expect that they will tell me that they want to work for the company because of the respect they have for our culture and brand. They should give me examples of how they use our site and services in their everyday life. They need to let me know they are passionate about our products.

That is when I think they answered the question properly.

Good luck!

Well you could say...

I want to work for a company that I can grow with, since this company is growing fast, I would like to be a part of the rewards.

Maybe that would work.

I interview a lot of people in my job, and I always ask that question. I like the answers of, "I need a job," and "I need a paycheck." If they can be honest from the very first moment, they are likely an honest employee. Good luck!

hmm hypothetical load of crap, but here goes. " well ive been looking for a dependable employment opp. that i can view as long term with room to grow in. after viewing my options, respecting my interests, and my desire to be no longer unemployed, i decided a bird in the bush is easier to catch than a tiger by the tail. mother necessity says the electric is due and im desperate and loyal."

Tell them you are seeking to expand your knowledge of communication technology for the future and wish to increase your financial situation while doing so.

After all, everyone loves to have an easy, convenient way to talk to friends and family....(the expanding your knowledge)....and a job increases your finances.
