Not an original question probably, but I realised adding to my own collection is fun - only to scare myself witless when the fire alarm goes off again (I smoke..). So which 5 dvd's would you value above any others?

Well, that would be hard for me since I'm a Star Wars fan and there's obivously 6 movies. But, not including Star Wars, I'd have to keep:
1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. Aliens
4. Office Space
5. Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

Army of Darkness: Bruce Campbell rules
Spiderman: Willem Dafoe as Goblin is an awesome Villain
The Crow: Great story, great action, and "Is that gasoline I smell."
Spaceballs: Mel Brook is a Genius, but after this he seems to have lost a little something
Batman Begins: possibly the best version of the Bat to ever see the big screen,
I know the Burton fan boys will pop a gasket of the last one, but as good as his Batman movies were (Jack as Joker, best. villain. Ever.) , they screamed "Tim Burton Made this Movie." I have no problem with director making his mark when he makes a film, but for it to be that loud and that clear was a bit much for me. also the modding of the Batsuit and bat mobile from each film set the stage to allow Schumaker to give us the bat nipples, which is unforgivable.

Lost in Translation. - love it to death, could watch it a thousand times. Amelie - cutest movie ever. never gets old. The Life Aquatic - as funny as the first time every time. plus who doesnt love bill murray?? Fight Club - enough said. Mean Girls - I love this movie and am not ashamed of it. Alfie- just makes me happy after I watch it everytime.

just incase any of these movies arnt availible on dvd where u r...we get them pirated here in Pakistan...only a few come out in cinemas which then do not come out as pirated dvds,so u really cant blame me for watching them!:)
