Can i got into any of these schools???
I have a 2.9 GPA with some honors classes in a pretty competative school. I got a 930 on sat's out of 1600 and a 19 on act's. I know that sucked.

I applied to
Pitt U
Northeastern
Temple

anyone who has gotten close to those scores get into any of those schools?

and what did i do better on ACT's or SAT's ?

Also, i have alot of extra activities and did play sports freshman year.

College admissions aren't based on just one factor. They look at you as a whole student which will include grades, test scores, letters of recommendation, your essay, etc. the collleges also try and create a well rounded student body with diversity each incoming class, so if you have a unique talent to bring to the school, it will increase your chances.

grades and scores aren't the only factors that determine acceptance into a university. yes, it plays a big factor but it's not the only element. looking at your stats, you are on the low end of the spectrum. check out the universities you are interested in and look at their profile. as far as which one you scored higher in, i think the 930 and the 19 are pretty close to each other. you might want to retake your act and sat again. make sure you get good teacher recommendations and have held down leadership roles in your extracurricular. good luck!
