Yes, ATI is a very good video card choice for gaming. The second best is the G-Force. The higher the price the better the card, at least when it comes to video cards, processors, etc. Higher prices does indicate a better performing hardware. I use the ATI and I have the best graphics and speed. I think there is an even better one though if you want to pay the money for it, it is the ATI 1600 or is it 1800? I think it is the 1600, yeah, 1600. Just went and looked at my Fry's Electronics Sale page in the paper.
DNY has a really good one out too, the 7950Gt 512 MB PCI-Express Graphics card. I hear this one just is lightning fast and has life like graphics. It is on sale for fifty bucks less at Fry's right now. Thirty instant savings and twenty mail in rebate, total price not including tax is $299.00. Good luck and have fun with the games!
