Really good movie. Story is pretty easy to follow even if you didn't play/beat the game. Although the other characters (Barret, Cait Sith, Cid etc..) could have been used a little bit better, the action was still pretty good.

Yes. It came out in Japan first, and unsurprisingly, was pretty popular. It's out in the US on Dvd and usd.(for psp)

It was also released here in the us. It was good, but i could of been better, thats just my opinion thou.

the animation is great, the story makes no sense

Its very good...I enjoyed it...I'm not sure about japanese release though.
