it depends? do you have more nfo on your type of car? it can be done for around 99 dollars a seat.

Some auto parts stores have a cover that fits right over the seat and can plug into the cigar lighter or be wired into the main harness. They work quite well, I bought one for my mom.

Otherwise you would need to get a whole heated seat from salvage yard that would fit in your car and wire it up. Some local garages would do it for a better price than a dealer. Ask around till you find someone who is happy with a small shop.

Depends on the car, if it was offered on one of the high up models in the range it's a case of finding some, bolting them in and wiring them up.
You can fit heated seats from a different make/model but theres the hassle of adapting them to fit.

I know they have to be leather seats. But think it can only be done at the factory.

find one at a wrecking/salvage yard and mount it in your car, a for a few hundred :)
