Don't play favorites. Listen to both sides of the story and make sure you're there for both of them. If they make you choose, tell them you can't, and then refuse to talk to both of them. Maybe, that will get them both talking to each other again. They'll both want to complain to each other about how you're not being fair. Try it...you'll be surprised how well it works.

Enjoy each friend for what you have with them, refuse to talk about the other friend when they aren't around. Don't take sides and don't get involved. Do this for both of them, not just one.

Never chose sides. If they are both your friends, then you have the right to have both. Don't let the other give you an ultimatum.

both are friends...just be friends to both and don't get drug into the problem..tell them each you are neutral and they need to work it out between themselves
